50th Airbus to IndiGo
IndiGo India’s largest and fastest growing Airline, has marked a major milestone after taking delivery of its 50th new Airbus A320 aircraft at Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi.

This aircraft is due to be operational from February 16 on IndiGo’s new additional flights connecting Mumbai to Coimbatore, and Bhubaneswar, and one new flight from Kolkata to Bhubaneswar. Additionally, the carrier is also expected to take delivery of its 45 new Airbus A320s up till 2015 while IndiGo’s firm 180 Airbus aircraft order placed in 2011 (including 150 A320) has a scheduled delivery between 2016 and 2025.
IndiGo undoubtedly is India’s youngest, yet fastest growing airline. Having flown over 39.46 million in over 277,900 flights since its launch, IndiGo has achieved immense success in the Indian skies, and continues to show steady growth.
