A larger version of A380 Soon

Airbus plans a larger version of A380
Airbus has suggested it may build an extra-large version of its A380 by the end of this decade.
In an annual global forecast meeting, the plane manufacturer predicted that the number of passenger planes worldwide will be more than double over the next 20 years.
It said that the number of planes made by all the manufacturers with more than 100 years would increase from 15,000 this year to 31,000 by 2030, with the US, China and Germany forecast to generate the greatest demand.
It said Asia-Pacific was expected to account for 34% of demand, Europe 22% and North America 22%.
It also predicted that long-haul air traffic would grow three-fold over the next 20 years.
Meanwhile, the number of low-cost airlines will make up some 19% of all air traffic by 2030, compared with the 5% it currently makes up, it said.
The group’s prediction also included 900 newly built freighter aircraft built for commercial use.
